Most people in Eastern Europe may be poor but there are plenty of people with mega cash. I have sold to Russians with dollar accounts in the USA - and that was when Russia was totally communist. Only thing is its often best not to ask too many questions about where the money came from...

Any, Moscow, of course, is the most expensive city in the world if you want a good lifestyle.

Quite nice until FHM voted it 'Europe's best stag party destination' in 2005, which resulted in RyanAir jetting in planeloads of football hooligans in every weekend, who make such a nuisance of themselves that the locals are sicked and tired of them.

It gets a bit chilly up here in winter as well.

And the property market has been dying since last March.

But, apart from that, it's quite nice!
