I would love to be able to stick a poll on this thread, but I think that is only a function available to the "privelidged".

and going back to the point where you suggest that agent lose interest after the sale, why are there so many of your postings where a subscriber has asked a question and you have not replied?

Are you now marketing WWD product as well as RA? If so, why?

I wish I could have found the post where Peter states he is the "exclusive agent for Sahl Hasheesh" - sadly, he might have deleted this, knowing what was on the cards.

I reckon Peter should be kicked into touch on the basis of his self-promotion and general lies he has been posting on this forum!

Touching on a comment on another thread that has now been closed by bob- otherwise I would have responded on there instead!

WHAT dont you understand or get about me as a moderator??

THE FACTS ARE That I was asked to moderator voluntarily on this forum and I gladly accepted!

I contribute willingly where and when I can and do not feel that I should be personally attacked on this forum if that was your intention!

I have a family to look after, a household to run and work fulltime as well as volunteering to moderate here when I can!

I unlike many within the forum have no hidden agenda or personal interests to gain from here!

I give honest advice ( others than agents)and help to others when I can and try to contribute as much as possible!

I do not try to manipulate others or hard sell to anyone!!

If you feel I am inadequate for the role of moderator then that is YOUR personal opinion and not everyones opinion!

I wish not to turn this into a fued or arguable debate but I felt the need to clarify the situation!!

Also my comments are not aimed at agents either!!

Appreciate you are annoyed, and a few tempers have been inflamed over my comments - but what I wrote was I don´t know about you. That´s because I don´t know about you.

In my experience you are pretty active on the Brazil forum, which is okay, but I actually got cheesed off when you piggy backed Carter on the Spain forum about Jardin de los Reyes - FGS the developer had been on there offering advice on request, so why add to DCs uninformed and pig ignorant comments? There´s not going to be a building licence in place for two years and never was going to be!

I appreciate that Mods have a role to perform. Bob had to close that forum because of the number of people pointing fingers at one or two moderators who were taking the proverbials. I never started the thread but feel the comments were justified in it.

I apologise if you felt that there was some sort of personal attack against the work you do on TP. Keep posting those smileys

I knew deep down that your comment was in some way related to JDLR !!

Briefly regarding this its just unfortunately something that I researched into and went even for a 2 day inspection- and based on first hand experience gave my honest opinion!!

I cannot help if I was no bowled over by it or believed everything I saw and was told!!

There are always two sides to every story thsoe of agents and those of investors!!

I do not think that because of one thread People should deem others as incompitant, rude or or their posting unjustifiable!!

I have no intention of responding publicly to your personal criticism of my work as Moderator on this forum. Many of the points you raised would be difficult to respond to accurately without openly promoting RA or criticizing other people which is not my job. However, if you would like to email me on peter@mitry.com I will be happy to respond to each and every point.
For some time now I have tried to avoid openly promoting RA because it clearly encourages other Developers to promote their projects.
This is not the aim of the Egypt Forum; it is a discussion platform for those interested in investing in the country either for pure lifestyle or investment gain. It is NOT a forum for personal abuse, often levelled by those with their own commercial agenda.
Each of the Moderators gives a considerable amount of time to carrying out the role and I have built the Egypt forum from scratch; at the beginning it was difficult to avoid talking about what I do and I apologise if that created the wrong impression. However, I have ALWAYS tried to encourage new and original and unbiased content and will continue to do so in the future.
If you have a commercial agenda keep it for the Premium section and don't try and 'bait' me into answering questions which could cause me to abuse my role as Moderator. Ask them by all means but PM me - do not ask in open forum.
