Default 4 Bedroom apartments - is there a market ?

.
Open question:

4 Bedroom apartments - is there a market ?

I've noted that there are lots of 3 bedroom apartments for sale but I've not seen any 4 bedroom ones advertised.

Is this because there is no demand,
or people who need 4 bedrooms are buying villas,
or do people buy 2 separate 2 bedroom units instead
or what ??

Fair enough,

4 bed apartment is meant for family use, and nowadays families are buying something where their kids can play - garden - so they prefer to cut down on the rooms to replace it with garden or extra space.

My opinion

In Slovakia (we prefer 3 - 4 beds flats cause there is smaller maintenance than 3 - 5 bed house with land - very expensive)

Every country and buyer is different

I think that anyone who needed four bedrooms would probably be in the market for a villa instead.

Think about it - you'd be talking about 5+ people in a place that needed 4 bedrooms so they would need some pretty big living areas or else they would be getting under each other's feet all day, so you'd be looking at 200m2+ and that's getting into villa territory.

I think that the demand for a 4-bedroom apartment would be tiny.

Default Four Bedroom Apartment? I think not...

Given the price of flights to Hurghada I don't see too many families going there for holidays with three or four children! The market for four beds is more for people planning to live or work there; if that is the case, why would anyone buy an apartment when villas are readily available and not much more expensive?

I dont see any interest at the moment for a 4 bed apartment or a villa, but I can see how a 4 bed villa would be more appealing.
