Smile British resort

Hi
I bought my one bedroom of plan over two years ago and now am eagerly looking to use it in the new year. I bought for just £13000. Last over in March and had new pictures in Dec . It looks almost there and I am going over in Feb. I met the owner last March and the lads at Redsea4ever have been great. Like everything in Egypt there are delays and they are always telling you it is near completion when there is a way to go. Hopefully the end is in sight!!.

Who are the Developers? Is this an Egyptian company? I have not seen it marketed by any of the International agents?

Well I guess it was a good buy, but I bough because I love Egypt and for my retirement. If any one is interested I bought through redse4ever. The owner of the development is Egyptian. It is nice to know that I have made a profit . I do wonder how high the prices will go in Hurghada?

Well the prices just seem to be gowing up at the moment at least your profit is already there, catch 22 unless you sell to come out of Egypt you would be lucky to replace like for like.

Is it true the maintenance fee is only a one off £1500 .
If so what a brilliant deal.I have come across this before where the developer puts this in the buyers name into a bank account and draws the monthly interest to pay for the maintenance. It can also be retrievable on sale of your property.

Yes it is true re maintenance. However they do have the option to ask you to put more in the account as costs rise over the years. Currently wages are very low in Egypt, this allowa thw low costs of maintenance. I have seen the prices asked on other projects and they seemed high considering the local economy.
