hi Sue - We from Leicestershire and we usually fly from Manchester too although the flight we had booked for April was from Birmingham. We saw Waleed at the Homebuyers show in March and he showed us a few pics but they didn't look finished. As Queenie says, I'm having trouble sending a PM so if you could post them - that would be great.

It looks great and also looks like block 14 is coming on. We haven't got any furniture sorted or kitchen so it looks like we'll be busy next time we go out. I think we'll look to go out in October time so may need an apartment to rent nearer the time!

Well we are hoping to go late may/early june to get ours furnished etc as we have just gone for the kitchen but no furniture pack - we looked at a lot of furniture when we were out in Feb and there is soooo much choice you wont have a problem finding something you like!
Well,hopefully by the time you are going over our apt on the British Resort will be fully sorted and you can use ours! Keep in touch on the forum and via email and we can sort it out.
Also,I've got quite a bit of info on furniture places and some photos of what was in the shops which is quite handy to see.
Have you bought a 2bed or 1 bed?
Its great being able to meet other owners on the internet before we all get there isnt it!

That's great thanks, I think we're going to need all the help we can get it's been so long since we went last. We have been on furniture scouting trips with Medhat in the past but we weren't blown away and like you say, there's so much choice it's mind boggling! As soon as I can I'll send you a PM with my details and it'd be handy to see your furniture snaps.
We've got two 1 beds so hopefully we can kit them out virtually the same with no extra hassle. What have you got?
Also I've been meaning to ask - I can never find any flights out of Manchester after April until October time so where are you flying from? It would be really handy if we don't have to wait until the end of the year to get flights.

I think you should have made enough posts soon to be able to use PMs. If you've got time it'd be great if you could introduce yourself on the Introductions thread. Of course it's not compulsory but by doing so you might get lots more information from other members not buying on your resort. Have you had a look at the thread about furniture in Hurghada too?
Meantime, a big welcome to the forum and if you have any questions about finding your way around it please just give one of the moderators a shout

We have got a 2 bed in block 4!
You can get flights with flythomascook.com - low cost airline with cheap flights worldwide or First Choice | Book your dream holiday online | Great value package holidays | Last-minute holidays | Summer holidays | Bargain holidays | All Inclusive holidays | Family holidays in the summer months but they arent cheap at the moment!
Or if you go on to Cheap Flights - Compare prices on cheap flights and travel you can just put in From MAN destination HRG and you can view the cheapest deals then - although they are not date specific just the best prices on any dates - handy if your not stuck to certain dates etc..
Well hopefully by the time you will be furnishing yours we will have done ours and found all the best places and will be able to help you out!
Did you use the Old Vic beach at all when you were there last time? I believe that anyone at British Resort will get free use of this beach although not got anything in writing! We used it in Feb and its a nice beach - clean and there is food/drink available there - I've got some pics of that somewhere as well - I will try to dig them out!

Pictures of the beach would be good, I'll send you a PM with my details. We haven't been to the beach yet, hopefully it'll be on our next trip, furniture and kitchens permitting! Those flight websites were good, i've also found Cheap flights | find and book flights from UK airports - travelsupermarket UK so will definitely be looking to go sooner rather than later. Hopefully we can meet up with other British Resort buyers whilst we're out there for a drink or three!

Oh yes sounds good to me!
I know quite a few other buyers now so it would be good to meet up! Plus, got some decent local pubs now - there's the winking frog, a new one called Asylum (owned by a british couple who live in el gouna) ....ooh cant wait to get out there now!
So, when are you planning to go? I am just looking for end of May at moment.... work permitting! We are both self employed (we have our own building business and work from home) so it can be tricky knowing when we will have a slack week in advance! Need to plan things better!
