Those pubs sound good but don't ring a bell with me at all. Things in Hurghada must have really moved on since we were there last!
We really haven't got any dates in mind yet - we need to get hold of Waleed or Medhat first and you know how long that takes.....
It probably won't be till September or October time but I'll let you know. I can't wait now

Hi PineNut,and welcome to the B.R club!!!

Think october for completing phase two is about right.They have been saying that for a while now.Although we waited nearly a year more for ours than were originally told.Not good!Only got confirmation that ours is ready and furnished yesterday.We go out next friday for two weeks.
The next time we go will prob be october.Maybe same as you!
We fly from Manchester although we live in Derby.Midlands flights are SO EXPENSIVE!!
Regarding getting hold of anyone.....Dont email.(they either dont reply or take ages)Best bet is to call direct,as I found out.

Thanks for the welcome. Are you phase 2 or phase 1?
I know what you mean about emailing anyone - even our solicitor has given up trying!
We've always flown from Manchester (we live in leicestershire) but our last flight was due to go from Birmingham - in fact we should be there now - but we cancelled our flights because we hadn't heard from anyone. XL will be flying from East Mids in November, don't know what the prices will be like though.
Where did you go for furniture?

We are phase one.Block 3.We got the complete furniture pack off Medhat/Waleed.We just didnt want the hassle of having to do it ourselves.Had a very short conversation with Waleed yesterday after giving up on the emails.He said its all ready so will just have to trust him and wait and see!
We bought 2 years ago,so have waited a very long time to actually stay there..
Did you notice we both posted the last msgs at exactly the same time.Spooky*

I am Going on 16th returning 30th May two lovely sun filled stress free weeks flat on my back punctuated by cold drinks dips in the pool and an abundance of good food. I can't wait!!!!!
I will be the beached whale by the pool plugged into my ipod and getting very very hot!!!
Just give me a gentle kick as you pass.

We will hopefully be doing the same! However, I think we might end up 'working' for most of the time trying to get our apt furnished and finished etc!

yep I am still waiting for Medhat to confirm everything is ready. I was over in Feb stayed at the Safir and at that time most of the apartment was finished. I was apparently the first to buy ! and the last to move in!
Got to say though I think it is the best impulse buy I have ever made !
