forgot to say I have paid mine and they are asking for the full amount. It is in my contract and while I was out there they were taking the rubbish regularly. Pool cleaned every day and Ali and co water the grass and do odd jobs when needed. They were also saying that they were puting the management out to tender and advertising for jobs in the hotel. You may find some more news when you get there.

Icy, have just read your post, thanking you. On another forum and development their rubbish is dumped outside the development. Is it please when you say the rubbish is taking regularly, it is away from your place or is it placed in bins? owners at the other development are concerned about the vermin etc and have been told it is this usual for rubish to be thrown out next to their apartments, because it is egypt?

Default Rubbish

I am aware that some irressponsible people do dump their rubbish, just like they do in many countries. though I agree it is more apparent here. I can't tell you if this is the case at the resort as I did not follow the guy to see where he took it. There are rubbish collections in Hurghada by the local authority. However it is not unusuall for unofficial dumps to spring up around the place. there is a different attitude . However I am aware that owners at the British Resort have asked that rubbish is disposed off properly rather than just dumped in the street. Hopefully they take notice.

Unfortunately the rubbish is simply taken round to the back of the British Resort and dumped there. Vermin not too apparent as we only saw one mouse in our building 10 when there in April. It was one of the things I was going to bring up with Mr. Magdi if he had visited the complex during our stay but unfortunately he didn't. Maybe now they are getting maintenance money coming in they will be able to afford to have it removed properly. If not by the time of my next visit I will certainly attempt to address it.

Hi just got back from British Resort on friday the 3rd of july and things are looking very good the maintenance is being carried out eg grounds are looked after pools cleaned every day, mossy man sprays every night and while we were there the sunloungers and parasols were all re-varnished and stained so look very nice but on a down note the rubbish is still dumped round the back along with the rubbish from surrounding complexes had word with medhat about this but no joy if any else is going out could you air your concerns about this to anyone who is there at the time ie Medhat Whalleed,Magdi afifi, etc this needs to be sorted before it becomes a big problem with vermin and smell etc we dont need the area round the back just becoming a land fill for everybody.

hi all, this rubbish being dumped around developments seem to be a problem everywhere. Beside the health issues of this being done - what are the maintenace fees for? developers are taking our money and running a mile with it. The oasis developments are also experiencing the same problems - the rubbish is now stinking there according to people who are returning home. why are there no rubbish collections?

PEOPLE SWIMMING AT 3AM KIDS SCREAMING ADULTS SHOUTING LOUD MUSIC ..IT DID STOP AND THE GUILTY PARTIES WERE GONE THE NEXT DAY. UNTIL THE NEXT LOT MOVED IN ..THEY WERE TOLD TO GET OUT THE POL AT 11:30 BUT WENT BACK IN AT 1AM ALONG WITH THE KIDS. SO A BIT MORE COMPLAINING AND IT STOPPED..RUBBISH WAS BEING BURNT AROUND THE BACK DALY ..A SIGN HAS GONE UP ON THE HOTEL FOR THE GOVERMENT OFFICIAL . LOTS OF TV'S WERE TAKEN IN ALONG WITH SHEETS ETC. Hi - we found that there were lots of children on our resort in June / July. Apartments are being rented to Egyptians that are managers of nearby hotels. They get quite a good living allowance so can afford to rent privately off site. They can also afford for their families to join them as opposed to going home. It is the Egyptian school holidays hence loads of kids joining their father for the summer holidays. One day there were 10 or 11 young children in our pool and some as young as 3 unsupervised. One family was evicted and our manager has made rules and regulations ref noise etc and children not allowed to be unsupervised in the pools.
