This will be a very good development for those shrewd investors who have purchased in this complex.Good all round development with your own electricity and water meters, and a very reasonable one off maintenance fee.
Thanks for that awahee, looks like iv"e got somthing right for once then!!

Hi,
We have bought at the British Resort. We bought over 2 years ago off plan. It is really great to hear from others who have bought here.
We loved Hurghada when we went. We have been twice now, the last was in November and the project was not far off completion. The project is behind schedule, however it is really great to see it is coming together now. We are going out again on 9th May. If anyone is going to be out there we would love to meet up.
If anyone has more upto date info I would love to hear about it.

Many Thanks
Alex and Julie Woolfenden

Welcome to the Forum Alex and Julie,

This is one of the better resorts we have seen in Hurghada, the finishing and quality of the build is very good. They are also now finishing a block before moving onto another.
Impressive shame it's behind, however it's certainly better then a lot around this area.

Default Swindled

I bought in the British resort 2 years ago and it turns out now I am being told by the developer that the Property Agent hasnt passed my money on to the Developer.

I have taken numerous calls from the developer looking for payment.

I have spoken to the agent, have been promised a resolution and am now in a position as told this morning that if the monies are not recieved within 4 weeks the contract is being cancelled.

I am currently speaking to a solicitor in ther UK and in Ireland regarding the matter as I have paid in full by wire transfer in 3 payments ie. Deposit, Initial 50% and finally the Balance all to the agent as instructed.

What do yee all think of that???

I think the best way forward here is to make all payments to the developer direct, even if you are using an agent.I hope everything works out well for you darlawlor, always find out if the agent is authorised to sell the development you are buying.
Please keep the forum updated on any progress.Thanks.

Hi Darla - sounds a bit of a nightmare. Because you wired your money I am assuming that your Agent is based in Egypt?
