Wink Sierra resort residents

HI all, I can not belive we have only just found you all. I am still not sure how to post messages properly on this site but hope to get up to speed soon. My husband is Glen and I am Kamila and we bought unit 13b1 in April last year. We love Sinai and have first visited in 1995 and can not stay away. We are so excited our apartment is now ready for handover. Just trying to decide which furniture package to go for. We will be arriving on 30th September for 11 days. Is anyone planning to be there a that time so we could meet up for a drink and a chat?

Hi and a warm welcome to another neighbour. Cant believe how many of us there are now. I believe we may have another joining soon so watch this space!!

I have recently been over and completed my handover and now have my keys and electric card - yippee. We have ordered all out furniture through Idea4furniture which is based next door to sierra. Mostafa has alread furnished some apartments on Sierra and they look fab - pics and vids in furniture thread.

We decided to use Mostafa as we got more for our money. The kitchen is a fitted one unlike the SRE package that only had a couple of units. We have upgraded to a 32 in plasma wall mounted tv ( was 26 but he is now doing 32 ) also he is building a small dishwasher into the kitchen units as well. Mine should be finished today and I am hoping to get some pics very soon.

We are staying in our apartment and flying out 7th til 21st Oct so would love to meet up for a drink - we are 40A2. Drinks in our garden xxx

Alison

hi there everyone so pleased we found you all. We are wayne and Fee we have also purchased a property on sierra (25a1) in janruary 2008. I would firstly like to thank quennie / (alison i believe ) for the latest pictures and update from sharm . This has been a great breathe of fresh air as we had not really seen any progress reports since jan when we were there.
We have also decided to go with the 1 bedroom furniture package from idea4furniture at a bargain price of £3900 as we met mustafa in sharm during our visit.
We have sat up all night and read just about every post on this forum so we feel as though we know you all quite well already.
Some freinds of ours also bought in sierra i think about aprill 2007 building 3 middle floor 3bedroom, they came out with us in jan but as yet have not had hand over .any news would be good.
We are flying out to sharm for the first week in dec so it would be great if any of you are there to hook up for drinks.

Hi Wayne and Fee your welcome and we welcome another neighbour onboard. Do you mean your friends bought block 3 in the 1s phase.

A couple of other neighbours are going out this month so hopefully we will get some more new pics and videos.

Hi Wayne & Fee and welcome to the forum. I am really pleased that you have found it so helpful. We have come a long way from the early days when we had a lot of issues between many of the members and there were times when it was in danger of 'self destructing'. We have a great atmosphere now and the emphasis is on 'helping' rather than 'criticising'.

It is good to see a growing number of members who are buying in Sharm as again, at one time, you could have been forgiven for thinking that Egypt began and ended in Hurghada!

Welcome to the forum..we are more than happy to go for the SRE package..not interested in big tv`s..the one I have in the UK is a 40 inch and to be honest, rubbish tv is rubbish whether its a 21 inch or a 40 inch, and I dont intend to be watching tv in Sharm..thats for the UK.We will change things as we get tired of them..all we want is get the key in our palm and open the door to our flat and hey..all is done n dusted..I would like to fit my own ceiling fans eventually, but apart from that,we are happy to have the package.Good luck with your choice and hope it all goes well.
regards from Stu n Chelle.

they came out with us in jan and have not heard anything since.

Hi Wayne and Fee - if they are in the 1st phase they should certainly have had handover by now. Maybe tell them to contack Tarek the developer. Let me know if you want his email addie.

Stunchelle - we werent intested in a big TV but the package we got gave alot more including a bigger T V ( kids would wanna stay indoors and play Wii on it etc and us with neighbours!! ) including a fully fitted kitchen as oppossed to a wall and base unit. We are looking at the big picture ie moving out within 4 yrs.
