Default SRE Furniture Package

Hi everyone

Could someone please tell us where it states that we must use the SRE furniture package if we want to rent out the apartments through the hotel? We've scoured our paperwork but something must be missing.

Cheers

Robin & Jane

Hi Robin and Jane - I dont think there is anything in the paperwork that states this. Send them an email for clarification.

Hi all,

Robin and Jane, I was told when I purchased the apartment by my SRE agent Kamel that this was the case, you are right nowhere in our contracts or paperwork does it state this, if someone from SRE could clarify the situation then that would be great. It could well be that it was just typical sales talk by an agent to sell there package! However it seems that others have been told the same! I never gave it a second thought, if this isnt the case I would have gone for someone elses package as they are around £1000 cheaper and seem to be off better quality.

Oh well fingers crossed the furniture looks good!

James

Hi James - I think you are right with the sales talk. Tarek hasnt got a chain to manage it yet so no contract has been drawn up between the hotel management company and the developer. There is talk that they are hoping the hotel side will be ready by May 09!?? So will will just have to wait and see.

My package was £3900 which save me £2100 - the money saved paid for the maintenance and the elec and water meters and £200 left over towards my flight over last month.

Hi all - I asked SRE for some photos of the pool in my zone after it had been filtered. I have now received 4 pics but am waiting for confirmation that I have their permission to post them here. In the meantime if anyone wants to see them please pm their email xx

Default Wayne and Fee can you help

Help anybody?????????

We have just received a call from SRS claiming that our apartment we just reserved is not available. They have offered us now No. 30C1 (not sure why this was not available the other day!!!), Anyway our concern is that it is on the edge of the resort and google earth does not show completed buildings to the right of Sierra (if you were stood at the sierra hotel). Basically we would be on the end (at the corner) but on the left hand side of the block. Can anyone confirm if you are stood on the right hand side of the complex (in the second block what is next door) and what will the view be like from the roof terrace.

Please help we need to make a decision overnight. However, SRS promised to put the Euros back in my bank and I am NOT happy about this because the bank will absolutely sting me on the rate and I will lose money big time.

Thanks in advance.

Louise

Hi all

We purchased the SRE package when we reserved our apt. We were not told that we had to but the furniture we saw in the showhouse looked quite good and sturdy. We also had no idea where else in Sharm to purchase these items at the time. We intend to rent rather than leave it empty when we are not there so the package seemed to suit our needs. Credit crunch and all that.
We have had contact from Tarek the developer who thinks our apt may be nearly ready and hopes to confirm it when he returns to his office on the 14th August. Our son goes out for a week and is going to do a recce for us which Tarek has said he is happy to arrange. We have not been so lucky with the solicitor in responding to our emails regarding our contract so we are still unsure where we are in the system. SRE are a bit quiet as well at the moment.
If the apt is ready we intend to collect 17C2 on the 25th Sept and chuck in a few days diving as well.

John and Dawn
