Hi there Iain,

when you are over in Sharm later this month could you have a look at unit 65B1/2 for us please. When we were over in May/June they'd only just started on it. Completion is not due until April next year but the way people are talking it could be sooner. Any update would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff

Hi Iain (neighbour!)

If you could take photos of Apartments 23 B1&B2 we'd really appreciate it. We'd love to see what they look like inside but don't know how we could organise for you to have access, still can't believe they're actually ready but seeing will be believing!

Hi Robin and Jane - if Iain goes on site with Agent from SRE he will be able to get access into yours with the agent. I think the only time the agent couldnt get into an apartment is when the owners have taken poss of the keys xx

Hi Iain,

We also would bereally grateful if you could take pictures of our apartment 13B1 and the pool area. We were told they are ready for handover and trying to get furniture fitted.
We need to get the electricity and water meters fitted so we can get the key to Mostafa but had no reply from Terek. Does anyone know how to go about it without going to Egypt?

TO Jeff, thank you for bringing the subject to our attention. It is relevant to us too. We will do some searches on our side too.

Many thanks and hope to meet all of you for a drink soon.

Kamila

Hi Kamila - these will already have been fitted. You need to complete handover before you can get the keys to give to Mostafa. I flew over and completed my handover, had to pay the maintance fee and the charges for the elec and water meters. Contracts were signed by us and the developer and we met and I handed over the monies and had receipt. I was then given 5 front door keys and the electric meter card. I also snagged the apartment. Until you hand over Mostafa cannot have a key and the electric - although connected - will not be working.
If you cant fly over then you will then have to send the maintenance fees and elec / water meter fees over via bank transfer to complete the handover. Once this has completed then you can instruct SRE to give a key to Mostafa to fit the furniture and once done hand back the key to them and they will hold them until you go over. The keys also come with a registration card. Without this card you cannot get extra keys cut ( apparently! ) for security.

Hope this makes sense x
