LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

bet ya still forget!!!

Great tips Alison, gonna transfer the maintenance money before we go in October so that they can get everything ready and will take your advice and get the developer to pick us up (hopefully we can arrange this through the agents). We are still hoping it will be completed in time for us in October but if you see the developer can you ask if this is realistic or whether stew needs to factor in another trip before the new year to snag.

Trying to work out how much time we will have if we come over on 21st Oct, ferry leaves hurghada at 8.00 so will get there around 10 (if we are lucky) then say another hour to get to nabq, then the hand over/checking of apartment snagging etc, then we were hoping to dash to the furniture shop to have a look around to see what we want to go for/have a chat with mostaffa but we will need to be back to the ferry terminal around 4 so will need to leave around 3pm EEEK not long to check out your new home and its location!! Alison we will defo swing by to say Hi but it may be a very quick Hi!! We may contemplate coming on the Monday when the ferry leaves around 5.00am EEEK but at least it will allow us more hours to have a look around and check things out and catch our breath.

Will keep you posted and in the meantime Happy packing (got room for a little midget in your case????? I will happily sleep on the sofa whilst you take the bedroom!!

I am in desperate need for SUN!

Enjoy
x

Alison & Iain - have a lovely time in the Sharm sun - just in case there are any problems with access we've emailed SRE + Tarek the developer to say we've given you permission to go in our apartments at any time.

Look forward to the hundreds of photos!

Robin & Jane

PS Don't forget the LR

Smile Got it

Hi all

Good news. We have been told by Tarek the developer that our apt is ready so we have booked a week arriving on the 25th Sept. Doing the handover on the 26th and also meet up with Zeiad the solicitor to finish off any legal stuff. He has also told us that the kitchen and furniture will not be installed until we have paid all the fees (elec and water etc) when we arrive so we will not be able to see the finished article this trip however cant wait to get hold of the keys. Will probably have a look at Mustafas furniture shop to top up the SRE package. Booked again for March with Easyjet and only cost £300 return for us both.

If anyone is out there the same week maybe we could hook up for a sakara or two.

Hi Lou I will catch the site engineer on site and ask about a realistic handover for you. Just bought a lightweight folding sunlounger to take with me. Darren is out there at the mo and he is kindly getting me loo roll, water and butter and giving it to Mostafa to put in the apartment so at least I can have a cuppa when I arrive. Bought some of those baquettes you cook in the oven and cheese, bacon and ham to tide me over for a few lunches.

Thanks Robin and Jane - nearly finished the packing - well the stuff for the apartment and not the clothes!

Thats great news JohnnDawn - congratulations and bet you cant wait to get out there. Yes the Easyjet prices for next March were really cheap. It certainly pays to book early with them. I booked our Oct flights in Jan for £100 each return and they have now nearly tripled!
