Hi Chelle - I thought you had said that you went to London to get the poa lol. You wont need another visa then unless going out of Sharm so no need to go to El Tor. Once Zeiad has the poa it takes a min 6 months from there so you might not hear anything from him until he receives it back from the courts.

Alison have a fantastic time. Try and get some sunbathing in!!!

Just remember one other thing (yes another....) if you do get to speak to the developer, can you ask him how much it costs for a security door up on the stair case before the roof terrace (I believe you posted a picture somewhere). We asked Tareq the agent and he hasnt got back to us.

Thanks in advance - no worries if you dont get time.

Lou

Hi Lou - I will be getting loads of sunbathing in dont worry. Even bought a sunlounger on Sat and it fits into my large holdall to take with me so can sunbathe on my 1st morning lol.

The owners have sourced their own gates. If I meet up with anyone living on site that has bought these I will ask where they got them made and how much they were. It may be worth asking SRE if they can pass on your contact details to your neighbour so they can contact you and maybe just get the one gate at the top of the stairs and you can both half the cost??

Thanks Alison, good idea about contacting the next door neighbour.

We shall get on the case. If you do come across someone on the site then fine but please dont feel you need to trudge round looking for someone with a gate - we can do that when we have more time up there and dont expect you to do that (you will be busy enough already).

Have a great time.

Lou

Hi all

Arrived safe and sound no delays. Internet is not connected but ostafa has lent me his woggle or whatever you call them!

Iain came round and we have spent a very very hot afternoon walking round and taking pics and vids. Im shattered as not been to bed since Monday night! It was a pleasure walking on site and meeting Iain. We alson met another neighbour who completed handover today and they seemed a lovely couple. They have bought a whole block in my phase. I have his email so I will send hi the link to the forum. He said they will be living down the road for 6 months of the yr and he would keep an eye on things which would be great. A very useful forum member to have on board if he joins.

I will try and upload some vids tomorrow. Iain has taken lots of great pics and Im sure he will post a link to them as soon as he can.

I am very very pleased with what ostafa has done. Will post more tomorrow.

Lou did you say your tiles in your bathroom were different. We went into what we thought was yours and the tiles are the same as everyone elses?? Maybe you can email me the pics you got sent to make sure we got the right apartment?? The one we thought was yours didnt have windows in yet??

Speak soon xx

the ones that had the different tiles was the one that we purchased originally. only to be told that the owner would not sell to us due to the price increase that was happening on the 15th.
