Smile photos and video

Hi Alison and Ian

Thanks for the photos and the video which was a nice surprise for us this morning. Your efforts are much appreciated. I read earlier that there was a question around the SRE furniture pack especially the mattress. Do we get one or not. I got a reply from Tarek at SRE last night and the mattress is definately included. I also asked about an upgrade in the package to compete with external packages but he did not understand the question so we will discuss it with him when we see him on the 26th. Does anyone have any questions they want us to raise with him. We are also seeing Zeiad the solicitor the same day for lunch in Hadaba. (How far is hadaba from Nabq? How do we get there?)So the same applies regarding questions/queries. If anyone is considering renting their apt SRE gave us a guide of £280-300 per month which is a bit less than originally forecast.

Hi John and Dawn you are welcome.

SRE have changed the package which now includes mattresses.

Where abouts in Hadaba are you meeting? You can get the minibus for 3le each/each way. But you will need to know when to shout henna ( stop ) to get off though. I went all the way from Nabq to Old Market for 3le. The bus will drive past Delta Sharm and not long after this you will come to Il Mercato and get off there - this is just before Fantasia - Alf Leila.
Otherwise a cab will cost you about £5 each way if you haggle the price. Dont ask what the price is for the bus just get on and pass your money up the line to the driver. Make sure you have loads of 1le notes so you can give the right money.

If you arent sure where to get off a cheaper option than to get taxi from Nabq would be to get the bus and get off at the end Old Market then get a taxi back up to Hadaba for about 10le.

Some English girls I met were renting a 1 bed in block 7 top floor for a month as holiday let through SRE and paid £330 for the month. So take off agents comm and the figure quoted sounds about right. I imagine once the hotel is built you can long let for more.

HI everyone,

I have not been on our forum for nearly two weeks and have just spent ages catching up with the posts. Welcome to all new neighbours! Many thanks to Ian and Alison for taking so much time to take pictures and video. What a change since I saw it in January. The August heat sounds a bit excessive, might avoid visiting at the hight of the summer. I hope you both managed a good rest.

I am also counting days as leaving for Sharm on the 30th and so glad to see our phase up and running. I was not sure if either of you had managed to get any pictures of 13b1. Slightly concerened as neither SRE or Mostafa are replying to my e-mails and I have sent the money to both.
Alison could you let me have the e-mail address for the developer please. I think I ought to exchange some corespondence with them.

Needless to say I am happy to take pictures for anyone in October.

Many thanks again and look forward to meeting you all there shortly.

Kamila

Hi John and Dawn - yes was up there last week - this is where Zeiads office is above ERG. See this map http://sharm-el-sheikh.ovh.org/mapa_lewa_engl.jpg it is on the wider white strip of road off of number 28 for the Ritz Carlton which is near to Il Mercato xx

Hi Kamila - Iain had the list of apartments to take pics of. TBH I dont remember taking a vid of 13 but I did take vids of your zone. Maybe Iain will remember?? Your zone is moreorless done and the pool is filled and it is blue and looking lovely. I will try and post more pics and vids today xx

BTW I asked Mostafa about the fabric samples and he said he would give me some to bring home - then we both forgot. If anyone still needs then I will be back over in 4 weeks or Jeff may do the honours as he is out soon xx

I have a vid of my apartment - cant remember but someone asked me to vid the kitchen so again will upload it soon xx
