If you are getting 1000 LE for every month does this mean that people who have got a 3 bedroomed apartment ( 2 units ) will get 2000 LE ??

I was told that the developer will top up the pot but I don't know if he will.

Hi Lou - I agree and have bought this up many times. If this happens then indeed we are the ones that are paying the penalties and not the developer at all. This is what we need to check once the residents association is up and running and we have access to the bank account xx

Hi all, I have just finished reading all your communicatons, wow, how intresting and helpful it has been. Oh I had better introduce myself, I am Craig and my wife is Jas and we are also purchasers of a top floor 3 bed appartment at Sierra resort, appartment c69 in the very last phase of the development. I would like to join your forum please, it would be great to have a chat to my soon to be neighbours. It also sounds like there could be one very big street party when the development is completed, cant miss that one!

I look forward to chatting with you all.

HI Craig and Jas and you are more than welcome to join our forum. All our neighbours here on this forum are lovely, friendly and helpful. Yes trying to organise something for next June so watch this space.

Congrats on your purchase. Look forward to having cold beers around the pool with another neighbour. I think now we have something like 17 or 18 different forum members / couples / families now on this forum that have bought on Sierra.

If you need any help navigating the forum please dont hesitate to ask one of the moderators - Lsab ( Linda ) or myself.

A few of our neighbours are flying out in Sept and I will be going back in 4 weeks as well.

Best of luck

Hiya Alison, just wondered if you managed to get any videos of 30C1? No worries if not, we are only being impatient and hopefully will get our first real glimpse in October.

Ian did take some photos so we have seen still shots.

We are now hoping to go up to Sierra in the middle of our second week in Oct and stay one night in a hotel to give us a little more time up there to look around (you should still be out there then so we could meet up for dinner or something if you like).

Lou

Thanks Queenie, I look forward to it. I will defiantly need a little help navigating the site so I will be in contact for sure.

My apartment is due for handover in Feb 09, but from what I can read it is very likely it will be delayed so I am not sure when we will be going over again. I could do with some advice on finding a decent English speaking lawyer to use if anyone can help?

I also have some recent updated photos of the development sent to me by the agents 3 weeks ago showing many of the apartments, this may be of interest to some of the members if they havent already got them. I will have to study how to upload them.

I look forward to talking to you all, in the meantime have a good day!

Kind regards
Craig

Hi Alison - I wonder if the video that you have marked as block 29 really is 29 - from the position of the gap when you look out the window it seems more like 24 or 31 i.e. when you look to the right there is one or maybe two other blocks before the gap?

Iain
