Hi Lou - just checked and the October one was paid and booked 31st Jan. Keep checking their website before you go away. Is there anyone you can trust to leave your card details with and dates you can travel with approx prices that they can book online for you??

Ah thats what I thought, typical we go away on the 26 Jan!! Will leave the details with my mum and dad I think and hopefully they can book up the June one and during Christmas and then we can book one for April time when we get back. I am assuming the bargains are if you book asap of them being issued (the more that book, the more they go up in price)

Ta for checking the date.

Lou

Hi Lou - no probs - and yes the earlier you book the best price you get - that has worked so far. I booked my Xmas ones as soon as they came out at £180 each and now they are more or less double each!!!

Need to save to be able to pay for the flights when they come out - do you think Amy will mind satsumas and cabbages for Xmas this yr lol xxx

Smile Anyone Recomend an English Speaking Lawyer?

Hi ya, can anyone recommend an English speaking lawyer that I can use when my Sierra resort apartment is ready for handover? Cant be too careful on this so your help would be very much appreciated.

Oh, thanks to the forum I have made contact with Mustaffa from Ideas4furniture about the furniture package for my apartment, is his quality of product and his reliability of service good? I notice they are cheaper than the package offered by SSRE, is the package better or do you get less and so charged for less?

Thanks in advance

Craig

Hi Craig,

Quite a few of us at Sierra have used Mr Zeiad Yehia who is based in Sharm - his email is zeiad.yehia@gmail.com

From my experience I would recommend him, I have met him in person just recently and he'd a really nice guy as well.

Of course there are others around - I have seen a couple of names mentioned in other threads, but I have no personal experience with them.

Zeiad also contributes regularly to this forum - look on the legal thread - and you will see he has answered many questions we all ask and has be generous with him time (Which I find a novel concept where solicitors are concerned (with all due respect to any solicitors reading this!)

Hope this helps

Iain

Hi Craig ditto above Zeiad is also ours. You really need to get a lawyer as soon as possible. At handover you will need to hand over 2 signed contracts and you should not do this until your lawyer has looked over the contracts and ok'd them for you to sign and hand to developer. The developer then also signs each and every page of both contracts, he keeps one and the completed one gets handed to your lawyer so he can then present it to the courts.

Ref the package with Mostafa there are pics in the furniture thread I think of my finished apartment. I have also seen the SRE package and personally we thought Mostafas quality was better and you got alot more for your money. EG the kitchen for example had alot more units.

I am still trying to up load a vid of mine as well.

To save you looking try this link to the pics http://s284.photobucket.com/albums/l...%20in%20Sharm/

Ah, I may have a problem! We paid in full for our apartment some time ago so we could get a discount for a cash purchase, we have already had back from the developer the signed contracts, signed on every page as you sugested. They have their copy and I have mine. I was of the understanding that this was OK and the final details would be done by a lawyer on completion and handover. Clearly this is not the case, lets hope they finish the apartment as per the contract! I will speak with Zeiad about it. Thanks for the feedback, i'm off to jump of the nearest bridge now!
