Default How far behind schedule

Hi guys and gals, can anyone tell me how far behind schedule the zone 49-58 is running, apparently it is due to be completed in December 08. I would like to know what was the original date for completion was please?

The developer will not tell me how far behind my zone is 63 -70 is running.

I din't think that zone 63 - 70 was running behind ??

As far as i'm aware they started to sell this zone in December 07 with an 18 month completion date and are on schedule to be completed on time.

I bought 62 in December so would have thought they started to sell units upwards of that at about the same time.

I bought 69 in Jan 08 they said it would be completed in Feb 09? I am not overly concerned if it is delayed I just need to plan my trips and book flights, with our kids and schools etc, dates are slightly limited when we can travel, it would be nice if the developer could give me even a rough idea, but he wont at the moment, thought some of you may have some inside info.

Hi Craig if you bought Jan 08 I would say it would not be ready for handover until at least June 09. Personally I think at this early stage of building the blocks in your Zone it would be very difficult to get a realistic date though. Once more handovers have been completed in the other Zones the developer will be in a better position to give you a date.

I can ask the site engineer when we are back in 2 weeks to see what sort of date he is expecting those blocks to be ready for you.

Sorry cant be of much help.

Hi Alison, could you enquire about block 65B1/2 for us when you are over there. We also bought in Jan '08 and were given a completion date of April '09. I can only presume that as more units are complete then the rate of completion for the one's remaining will increase. Having said that I know we're talking Egyptians!!!!!!!!!
I'm going out in January but any info would be appreciated as we're trying to organise things for later next year.

Jeff

Thanks Alison, hey your offer to speak to the site engineer is a help in itself, thanks for the offer I will take you up on it if I may.

June 09 is fine with me for handover, its too dam hot in Egypt in the summer but lets take the positive from it, maybe it will be in time for your party!!!

Hi all

Work on Sierra will stop from 25th Sep to 4th Oct when all workers will travel home for the end of Ramadan feasts. Just our luck that our appt finish keeps going back week by week, this is the latest delay.

We'll have to ask Alison to take the whip over on her next visit - and get some action when they return. If it's anything like the construction industry over here it takes a full week to get up to speed after a holiday like that
