Hi James - would love to meet up for a drink if you are out around the same time. I booked the flights a little while ago and managed to get them for £180 each return which I thought was really good.

Yes I think SRE where going to replace their kitchen - the units did not line up, there were large gaps and the edges of the worktop werent smooth where they had been cut.

Did the kitchen not come with a cooker hood??

Mostafa would probably be able to supply and fit one for you. Locally there is also a small electrical shop just up the road by HSBC bank and Metro. He also sells tv's, kettles, irons, airers, ironing boards, spice jars, pots and pans, hoovers etc as well.

There is an electrical shop on Sunny Lakes just outside Naama and I would imagine B Tec at Carlton Mall in Hadaba would sell them as well.

Glad you had a great time. We are planning a trip on the quads up to the Mangroves for 8 of us which should be fun - considering I hate the things!

Alison as I understand from the developer their package dosnt come with a cooker hood, I was told by Ahmed Allaa to purchase one before I left so they could measure up the distance between the top units which im only getting 2! Ahmed said he would fit it. How many top cupboards did mostafa give you in his package?

My units were a mess didnt line up to and had been poorly cut, but the quality of the units where not there to and it wasnt something I was expecting. Fingers crossed all will be well when i return in december, i will let you know when im going out.

Quad biking was really good we did the sunset one, I hadnt done in before but it was a really fun experience, especially riding part of it on egyption roads in the dark!

James

Hi James - there were 3 double wall units plus a corner unit which you can see in the pics in this link queenie40something/My apartment in Sharm - Page 1 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Mostafas price would include the same units, hood etc as well I would imagine.

We want to do the quads in the day time up to the Mangroves. I have done it once in Hurghada and hated it - safety wasnt 1st priority for them!

I will give it another go though and remember to wear long sleeved trousers - dont those engines burn your legs!

Hi Betty, we have bought 65B1/2 the 2/3 bed option. I think we are going to go for the package from Idea4furniture. I've been in touch wuth Mostafa about a couple of changes we would like and there doesn't appear to be any problems. The only uncertain thing at the moment is the price. I'm going over in January so hopefully things can be sorted then along with a completeion date. We were given end of April 2009, but we know how things can change.
Nice to hear from an imediate neighbour and look forward to meeting you.

Jeff

Hi guys just wondering does anyone know what the hotel is going to be called. There already appears to be a hotel Sierra and a Sierra resort in sharm. Perhaps this one will be known as sierra nabq or something??

Hi Lou - no I want to make sure I am around as cant wait to put a face to the name - you will probably need a nice cold drink anyway. If you have time come onto my phase and I will make sure I am around - if not around the pool give me a knock 40A2 - that reminds me I must make sure I take the stick on numbers and letters for the front door!

I cant walk like an Egyptian!

You have a great trip too all be it a bit hectic. Bet you cant wait to see it can you??
