We are new to this forum so we say hi and thanks Alison for telling us about the site! We have bought at the Sierra and hope to have our handover this December so of course, we can't wait to get there this Dec. Please add our Sharm dates to the calander Alison, a great idea by the way!: 7th Dec-21st Dec 08 and the 15th Feb-1st March 09.

We would love to join the a pre-christmas party and hope that maybe this can happen before we return on the 21st Dec?

We have bought 15C2, one bed and have been promised handover for the 7th Dec-all is going to plan so far and we hope to actually be able to stay in the appt in Dec.

When are you and Stu heading out to Sharm next? Is your handover date for unfurnished or furnished appt?

Clare has today sent me some pics of the grilles she had made for me on my small windows for extra security. TBH I was surprised as I thought they would be bars and not quite so ornate! There is some finishing to be done but this gives you an idea. Im sure the same chap will be able to measure, make and fit things such as gates for those that have bought on the top floor.

Just a quick note to say that after a serious discussion be Email with the developers and Sharm El Sheikh Real Estate, we will be inSharm from the evening of 2 December until the afternoon of 9 December for the inspection and handover of our apartments. We will be more than willing to meet other owners for a drink and a chat whilst we are there. When I can find it I will post our Egypt mobile number should anyone want to meet up whilst we are there.

Great news Jeff, did the developer advise whether the pool and communual area will be read for our circle by then??? When I was over a few weeks ago they advised that we would not be expected to have handover until our pool was ready for use? Would be interested to hear your thoughts. We would prefer to drag our hand over out as we cannot get out there until April so dont really want to pay over all our maintenance fees and money for the metres until we can give them a full snag list but if we get notice its ready, they will want us to hand over the readies before we go.

Hi Jeff.

I cant remember what number apartment you have bought? Is it in the same circle as ours which is 25a1? If so thats of great interest to us with ref to handover, it seems we need to be a little it more forcefull with SSRE because we've heard nothing and are obviously concerned about the lack of Pool!!! Have today sent a message to the developer and SSRE so ever hopefull to get an update. We tend to agree with Samuie13 about the pool that we are not willing to pay any of the maintenance monies until its all completed. We are hoping to get out there in feb.

Just got from Nabq & Sierra looks better everytime I visit.

They have even started on mine, there was lots of activity all over the site ( Unlike Sharm Bride were nothing has happened for over 6 months now )

I also had the pleasure of meeting Robin & Jane whilst walking around the site.

Looking forward to a pool party to beat all others next new years eve ( Not this one )

Hiya Colleen and Paul, we are next out in sharm in April far too far away) - although cant complain we are going to the maldives in Jan/Feb so that will ease my pain. We are hoping for hand over/completion in December but we have it written into our contract that we will snag in April when we are out there.

Although we wont accept completion until the pool is ready. We are purchasing unfurnished.
