Size of Hurghada

As someone hoping to buy in Hurghada but who hasn't been out there yet can someone give me an idea of the scale of the resort?

As an example, how far is it from Ministry of Sound to The Hard Rock Cafe?

You may find this map useful Hurghada Street Map

Hard Rock is about 10 mins drive away from Sakalla where Ministry of Sound is ( unless they have both moved since I went ).

Hurghada stretches about 40km along the coastline and is divided into 3 sections, Downtown (El Dahar) is the old part; Sekalla is the modern part, and El Korra Road is the most modern part.

Great I thought there was only 1 Ministry of Sound, I certainly haven't seen any more than 1 on a map, that's why I chose those 2 land marks.

Hope to be going out at the end of February and it is so hard getting usable maps for locations of the hotels and the apartments for sale.

Heres another good one that I had stored that shows MOS, Hard Rock is by the Grand Hotel Hurghada - Red Sea - Egypt - guide, Map of Hurghada so you can get an idea of the distances.

What is named at Ministry of Sound Bar on Queenie's map is now rebranded as HedKandi.

I would put the top to bottom distance on that map at more like 30km

For anyone using Google Earth, the runway of HRG is exactly 4km long for comparison purposes.
