John I can only sympathise with your plight and I wish you a satisfactory outcome. My position is solely trying to protect the investments of myself and others. I do sell RA product but I also sell property for many other reputable companies. My primary concern was to disassociate the demise of Superior with either the Developers or RA as they are in no way connected.

Has anyone bought from superior group florida at their regal lakes development ?

I bought in Oct 2005, however superior rescinded my contract and did not build development, I was told that I would get my money back in 2 years if townhouse was not built, however I now find myself having to take superior group to court and it has now transpired that they never had the title to land and have committed fraud.

I made a couple of comments earlier in this thread as I had heard that this sort of thing was taking place.
Try registering with Florida Rental Home Owners Forum - Villa Owners Discussion message board and doing a search on there, that is the US owners site I used to frequent. I'm sure you'll find others in the same boat.

Hi Mark,

Ive just registered with this florida forum. I was told to take superior group in Bristol to court as they sold me the property and were paid commision for that. As they are bankrupt now, I guess this is a no no.

Oh, thats bad news Sam.
Don't give up though, try entering various phrases into the main search engines and you might find another forum where like-minded people may be able to help you. In the US, sometimes groups of people in the same position as you get together and share the costs to hire a legal team in order to go after the company or it's directors.
I don't know the details of your contract obviously but there may be something that ties in the US arm of Superior (if they are still in business) and there may be legal action going on somewhere.

Ive now enrolled on us forum and have asked to hear of anyone of who has bought at regal lakes.

I hear that their are 4 lawsuits pending against oakmont developments, however I dont seem to hear much about regal lakes.

Do you think I can get any help from government if superior go bankrupt in US? Ive been told they take fraud seriouslly in US.

Have you had a look at the thread:

Also there is another thread by a journalist:
"Morocco Luxury Property Investors Needed for Interview" You could contact this journalist and see if they know anyone interested in running a story on your case. It's worth a try as the Carol Vorderman name is high profile. It would generate some publicity for you. Good luck.

I wouldn't think you will get any government help but the Oakmont cases show what can be done. They do take fraud very seriously in the US, I have heard of directors of LLCs (limited companies) being jailed if direct fraud is proven so if you can find a group of others in the same boat as you it is definitely something worth looking in to.

I will start to see if I can find other investors who bought on regal lakes development. Contacting journalist is good idea. Ive tried contacting some of the biz journal journalist regarding superior group, however had no joy in getting response from them.

If there are any regal lakes investors who are reading this thread pls contact me.
