Hi queenie,

What paperwork do you need if you are wanting to obtain the visa from the embassy in the UK?.

Buying from the Egyptian embassy is more expensive that over in hurghada, we got visa's from them when we went to cairo and luxor, we needed the paperwork from the holiday company and dates when going and returning, it cost about £35.00 per person and that was 4 years ago.

Hi you can download the application form from their webite cost is £18 for multi entry visa and payment is by postal order made payable to the Egyptian Consulate. You need to attach one passport size photo to the application form. a self addressed recorded or registered delivery envelope written in block capitals and your passport which needs at least 6m left on it. Your visa will then be returned to you in your passport within about 7 working days. So it is really quick and easy.
Hope this helps.
