Hi j4,

I think you are right we should all pay the equivalent of $15, even at ten pounds as you say it would still convert to more then that.

I've just booked my transfers for Hurghada and the company has offered to sort out our visa's for us. Is it ok to do it this way and will it save us time queuing?

Thanks

Lyndsay

Hi Lyndsay - I bet they are going to charge you for doing this. It really is easy and doesnt take too long to do yourself. Ask them how much it is. If they say £10 then I would go with them but any more do it yourself.

Good morning Queenie, nice to see you're up bright and early this morning!!

They did quote me £10. Does that mean we just walk straight through the airport?

Hi Lyndsay! We are on the same flight - just text me when you get to Gatwick and we'll meet up. I can help you with your Visa when we get there, its simple. Also I am being collected at the Airport by a developer so tell me how many in your group and they will take us all.

Peter,

Are you not on the Thomas Cook flight? We are on the BA (eek!) flight.

Lyndsay

Hi Lyndsay - they will probably have someone to meet you inside the airport - most of the Egyptian reps are waiting as soon as you enter the airport building. As long as they are there ready and waiting with your visa to stick in your passport then yes I would go for this option because you will then go through to customs and then get your luggage. Dont forget that you will still have to wait for the luggage to come.
When we used to get ours it didnt take more than 15 mins and by this time the luggage starts hitting the belt.
Have a great time.

Hi Phil - yes that will be fine. Multi entry is for coming in and out of the country. If you are planning more than 1 more trip in the next 6 months then it is cheaper to get a multi entry one by post for £18. You need one anyway for POA for the lawyer.
