Just joined the forum as I am buying at Regency Beach. Has the buyers forum been set up yet and if it has how do I access it.

Have been reading threads for a couple of months now. Are people still buying as it all seems to have gone quiet at the moment, thats why i thought they must be on a private forum.

I know that a lot of people pulled out of the development but I don't know how many are still in. It appears that contracts have still not been sent out which might be a deal breaker for some. I put down a deposit in January so 6 months is a long time to wait. When did you buy there?

At the moment we're out of Egypt altogether - though we might have a look in Cairo when we're there later in the year. Tunisia is looking good, low entry prices and a more transparent legal system. Haven't committed to anything yet.

You're definately not alone, in fact I know of one or two who've recently bought into the development (not on this forum though). I think it's really quiet because there's not too much to say. Maybe if and when the contracts are sent, the thread will start buzzing again. People are tending to pull out at this stage because of the length of time it's taking, I think. Not everyone is looking at it as an investment - many want to use it for holidays etc. I seem to remember that the original completion date was end of next year (?) but that surely can't be the case now.

Yes, no changes on my side either - waiting what all this will end with.

Have you heard anything at all? Have they given you an idea of when contracts will be issued? It is taking a long time isn't it - it must be so frustrating for you.
