As I wrote, there were no information since, and besides, last posts on this and *** forums. I guess by now it's clear that the matter, as it stands now, doesn't depend on FirstLeisure or PHW, but instead on Egyptian authorities and/or FirstLeisure's partners. I just believe that, as Mr. Harris exemplified, they make all due effort to lead it into the resolution. But - it's Egypt, and it's summer.

I personally no longer expect anything until the autumn... And well, I'm now personally ready for other ends of project, like it being cancelled (at least, in the present form) due to changes in legislation. Yes, it's frustrating, but it's summer for me too, so I'm concentrating more on holiday season instead. That's of course knowing that you and other people, who really wanted, had their reservation deposits returned.

I think anyone who has stuck with this development will be more than happy when it gets the go ahead.

It must be getting the ok as it has taken so long...It would have been rejected by now..surely?

I believe all Regency developments have gone up 10% from August 1st.

Those early birds will certainly get the worm.

Should have stuck with it myself.

Cheers

Default Got my money back finally

Hi All
After waiting almost a couple of months I've had all my deposits back for RB. Again I would like to thank everyone who took part on this forum as it was invaluable in helping me and others form an opinion on the development.

I would also like to comment on the agent I used, The Right Move Abroad. I'm agraid I could not recommend them to anyone and certainly would have nothing to do with them again. From the outset they said anything they could to get the deal. Much of the factual info they gave was incorrect and even when PHW advised them of changes, they did not pass these onto investors. I found this out by dealing direct with PHW. TRMA are a very sharp and aggresive sales company. What's really appalled me is that when I asked for my deposits back, I was given some story about the money was not in the country and unavailable for a while. They had not passed it to PHW so why were they using it for something else!
I had even contacted the AIPP (trade assoc) but fortunately got my money back before having to take action. The money was one thing but the thought of being messed around by these people really annoyed me. Rant over.

Good luck to everyone carrying on and if anyone does have any other investments of interest that stack up well then I've got some cash again! All the best,

Marsh

Hi RB buyers - the latest news I had from Andy Harris at PHW/First Leisure was that the a feasability study was being given to the Governor of the Red Sea on Monday 11th, and then the licence would be issued before the end of August. Contracts should then start to be issued in early September.

The post before yours is the first I've heard about the progress on this development. It's all gone really quiet.
