No, there wasn't any activity on site when I was there. But as it was on a Friday during Ramadan, it was the equivalent of visiting the site on Christmas Day in the UK.

From what I have been informed, the next thing that happen is that they will throw up some temporary accommodation for workers next so that they can all live on site. They are then planning to have three teams of workers working in shifts 24 hours a day to get the project moving forward as fast as possible.

No - the site was empty. But most sites are.

I am back there again tomorrow afternoon and so I will let you know what's changed, if anything.

Ramadan is now reaching its peak though, from what I understand. Next week, from what some people have told me, absolutely nothing happens at all anywhere - even most of the banks are closed.

There are 4 or 5 more days left in Ramadan (it doesn't really have a peak to reach ). As soon as it ends...and because its determined by the sighting of the new moon, we don't know exactly when, Eid begins. This is one of the biggest festivals in the Islamic calendar, as big as but in no way related to, Christmas. It is celebrated over 3 days and banks and businesses will almost certainly be closed for the duration.

Hi I doubt if there is any activity due to the Eid celebration. All workers would have been sent home to their families and doubt that there will be any work until after 4th xx
