Queenie's right - Hurghada is like a ghost town at the moment as everyone has gone out of town to celebrate the Eid. Nothing is happening on any site at the moment.

I was last on site on Saturday. They have bricked in a temporary reservoir for water and marked out the area for digging the remaining area of the foundations, but those were the only changes that I saw over the previous week.

I am now starting to worry about the lack of info and the delay in starting the building, have you been to the site in the last few days.

Thanks as always.

Today is also a public holiday, so some workers just stay off for the duration, maybe up to 10 days in total.

I was telephoned a few days ago by my agent who said I would be receiving the new plans very soon. Has anyone had these yet?

I spoke with the UK lawyers this morning - new contracts are being issued as the complex will now be finished within 24 months (instead of 30), the annual maintenance charge has been reduced to £7.50 per m2 (from £10 per m2), and the apartment spec is being upgraded.
