We are also planning to put an excellorator in the concrete to allow it to dry quicker and us to build quicker

It has been frustrating for all of us, however when you consider beach front in Hurghada is now selling for between £1000 and £1500 per m 2 I think all will reap the rewards in the long run.

Thanks for your patients and support

It's been some time and I am curious as to what is going on. Andy, isn't it about time you posted something on here to please your growing fan base?

On the 24th December we recieved from the Govenors office an official document stating that planning consent had now benn granted for a change of use from 12 Villas to an Aparthotel, it also stated on re-measuring the land we now have another circa 2000 meters of land. We now have to pay more mopney for this land which we are doing and have until 24th January.

The Construction company Prema Crete is owned and run by two brothers that are Coptic Christians, there christmas day is the 7th January and they are back at work on Monday 12 th January

We will try and get a live streming video camera rigged up so you can log on and watch construction, but this will not be until February as out IT guy is out of the country.

We aim to finish the construction as soon as possible this should take a maximum of two years but we do hope to get it finished quicke as it would be nice to have a big party in the christmas of 2009 (25th December)

Contracts will be sent out by mid January if you can all deal with them as efficiently as possible we can get on with the building quickly

Should anyone need further updates or have any questions please e-mail me personally on andy@property-hotspots-worldwide.com

Regards

Andy

For those that have pulled out we are improving the construction time (we are getting quite good at this now) we will show good faith and re contract at the same original price this is available until the end of January and is also available to those that wish to purchase additional apartments at the same price as the first.

Hi Neil,

Not much happening on this thread yet. Had a message on the answer phone today from chris at property hotspots to say they should have the revised plans with correct dimensions with us tomorrow. The architects were busy all weekend he said.

cheers
andy
Pleased to hear this news too. However, I still have not received any updated plans with the correct dimensions on. I was promised these back in March/April last year. I know there have been changes made but what am I getting for my money? 57m or 40m. I certainly will not be signing the contract or paying the 40% until I have those plans and am happy with the dimensions. I have heard of someone (not on a Regency development) getting only half the square meters they were supposed to get!! I respect the fact that this project has been delayed until all the legal stuff has been granted, and I hope all the necessary plans and information regarding our contracted units will be provided in due course.

Anyone else out there??

cheers

Andy

Latest info I have - the UK lawyers are currently waiting for an English translations of the land purchases documents/building licence to verify legality before instructing buyers to proceed with exchange of contracts.
I was told this should be through within 2 weeks (and that was a week ago so hopefully not much longer to wait).
Regency Beach is just over 50% sold. Regency Heights is sold out.
Regency Continental 2 still has some availability as does Crash Pads - with 10% discount off prices until end of Feb.

Are they sold out now because they don't seem to be listed on their website.
