Kevin,

No probs! Like yourself i've weaved through as much information as I can find about WSV and probably the most encouraging thing I can tell you is that nothing has put me off so far. Your concern over the airport - yes they're rubbish - this won't be a factor for long, eygpt is flooding money into airport infrastructure to try and get its very high target number of tourists in. It can only mean improvements.

I find the above info useful it seems this new part of hurghada is more suited to your needs (part where WSV is). Its an african country so a reasonable amount of caution is advised - remember you are an extremly rich person in their country don't forget, but in fairness keep to the normal spots you'll be fine

I have NO IDEA on the furniture costs and can't seem to get this info but fitted air con will be £500 - £700 and is worth every penny. I reckon £4k - £6k will cover the furniture pack. Rentals will be either based on a profit share scheme or based on how often the apartment is rented out in the year - expect incomes in the region of 7% - 15% PA.

Any specific questions i'll try answer but hope this helps.

Brian

You are an active member Brian. This is how you do it:

make a post as you normally do - you will need to write a few words in the box 1st such as here are some pics, then before you hit the submit reply button look further down and it will say additional options, click on manage attachments and you will get a pop up box where you have the choice to upload pics from your computer or from a URL. Click on browse then you can choose the pic and then press upload. You can do about 6 / 8 pics at a time. Once you have uploaded them then submit reply.

Hope it works if not let me know

Default West Side Village & Specifications

Please read below what are your opinions as this has arose at the draft contract stage:-

The contract states that "FITTED KITCHEN UNITS & WORKTOPS ARE SUPPLIED AS PART OF THE FURNITURE PACK"

The brochure specifications we have copied out below. This clearly says that there should be a fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces.

The details on the furniture pack referred to only the white good as additional purchasable items.

We would like confirmation that the kitchen units and work tops are included in the purchase price.

SPECIFICATIONS FROM BROCHURE

All West Side Village apartments are built to the very highest

specifications with an exceptional quality finish which includes;

● Construction and design to 5 star European specifications

● Marble and ceramic flooring throughout

● Choice of ceramic tiling in kitchen and bathroom

● Modern fitted kitchen with granite work surface etc

REPLY

Sorry for the delay in response,

The website/brochure specification was has always been there as a guideline, fitted kitchen are available but there indeed part of optional furniture package. I have attached a copy of the West Side Village specification.

I take it you are unhappy about this and was sort of kept in the dark about the furniture pack ? and what this actually is ? and have just realised that the kitchen !! is not included ? i take it this also means that air conditioning is not included it the purchase ?

Is a bit bad like - but ur gonna need the furniture pack most likely anyway and they neva even claimed it had air con - this will only cost ya £500 - £700 so not a disaster in respects of air con.....i dunno the furniture pack cost yet, expect £3k to £4K as that what most others seem to charge.
