I agree that it's hard to come up with a clear winner between Lotus Breeze and West Side Village.

It depends on where you want to be in the town. If your primary interest is the beaches and you are looking for a quiet holiday, Lotus Breeze is in a quieter area.

If you're a party animal, then West Side Village's location just a hop, skip and a jump from Sekalla is good.

The GBP375/m2 deal expired a week ago. The GBP400/m2 pre-release deal will also be expiring at the end of March.

P.S. Thanks for my early morning alarm call this morning, Naj! :-P

Hi,

Lotus breeze also includes one free aircon, ground floor swimming pool, a rooftop swimming pool with a Bar and Restaurant.

I am hoping that Adam can confirm the situation with the rooftop amenity situation.

I have heard reports saying that those with top-floor apartments get their own roof terraces, but those on the lower floors won't get access.

I don't know whether it is correct or not.

Hi Nick,

Im getting worried about you and Peter. Are you Partners for Real? lol. Anyway check Peters post on the Lotus Breeze thread where he clearly said £375 per sqm until March 2008. (I hope the guys in dark suits havent got to you too?
Give me a call and I will explain).
That aside again from reading your book you were yourself quite excited about this project then and I hope you still are.

I and Awahee123 were with El Riad and he confirmed the Rooftop will be communal for everyone and no one will be allowed to build on the rooftop.
I think people are confusing this point with the Lotus Project which is situated in front of West side Village. Owners there on the top floor will be allowed to build on the rooftop ( Got this from El Riad direct) and therefore this may have an impact on WS Village views.

Final point to get to Sekalla from either location you will need to catch a Taxi unless you are high on some illicit drug then I suppose you could Hop, Skip, Jump? lol.

In any event there is the Buddha Bar in the Touristic Area as well as the Hard Rock Cafe as well as a few other discotheques. Anyhow your supposed to be out there working not letting your hair down Nick? lol....

Regards

Hi Naj,

Check the date of Peter's posting again. You will see it is from last Sunday.

As I said, the deal expired a week ago. Peter doublechecked with El-Riad immediately after posting and he was told that they couldn't keep it going for any longer than another 24 hours.

I am still very much excited by Lotus Breeze. If you check our site, you will see that it is still very much up as one of 'Nick's Picks'.

Remember that I have analyzed over 40 developments in the Hurghada area now. Whether Lotus Breeze is my #2 choice and WSV #3, or vice versa at the moment is pretty irrelevant as they are both absolutely fabulous projects that I would not hesitate to put my own money in tomorrow (if I had any!)

Thanks for the confirmation about the situation on the communal rooftop facilities - that's really good news.

Actually, although I only walked halfway from the site of WSV to Sekalla, my girlfriend actually strolled the whole way via the scenic route. But I agree that it's a lot quicker just to grab a cab!

Little Buddha was great, but we spent more money on a meal there than we spent on all our other eating out put together! We tried Hard Rock Cafe, but the place was empty by 3.00 or 4.00am

As anyone who has seen my picture will know, I have let me hair down so much in the past that there isn't any left any more!

I was my last Saturday night in Latvia yesterday, so I had a legitimate excuse not to go to bed until 9.00am this morning, which is why I was none too lively when you called me!

The roof top pools and bars will be accessible to owners and guests of Lotus Breeze, wether you own a studio on the ground floor or a 3 bed on the fourth, or simply renting short term.

For those of you who sell Lotus Breeze, watch your inbox as there will be a launch of new price plans, as well as mortgage facilities very soon!

Peter, did you manage to get any site photos of wsv?

Hi,

I have been looking at this development for some time and whilst I realise they have only just started digging I would appreciate some pictures if you are still up for taking them?

Do you know who is co-ordinating Westside Village Sales in England or anything about westside-village. com?

Many Thanks!
