Hi all,

I have been attracted by this development as well..... especially from amongst a multitude of similar developments in and around the same place...

To me what is striking at a first look at this is.. with so many developments, each of them running into hundreds of units..... similar price.... similar locational benefits.... similar build qualities....
.... can it really be attractive on a pure investment point of view ?

Do you guyz think these will be occupied and generate rental income... if at all the developers manage to sell these 1000s of units ?

On the positive side, I guess West side appears to be projected as a project with 5 star amenities.. and with relatively easy investment terms...

By the way, can one get mortgages on Egypt properties ?

I certainly wouldn't count on too much rental income from apartments in Hurghada. As you say, far too many of them. Also, there are many cheap all-inclusive hotel deals which lots of tourists find attractive.
Buy for yourself and a little bit of capital gain and I think you'll be fine.

Morning Gee69,

There is a thread on this forum about mortgages which you might find interesting http://www.propertycommunity.com/forum/egypt...age-egypt.html. Plus take a look at 'will hurghada have oversupply of beds' on page 1. It might answer a few more questions for you.

I highly recommend Zeiad who is a member of the forum. You may find his Legal thread helpful http://www.propertycommunity.com/forum/egypt...rty-egypt.html

You have made a really good choice. The Developer of West Side is in my opinion one of the best in Egypt.

Good Luck
