HI everybody. We also have purchased a one bedroom apt at WSV and are very excited. I was told by the agent that there will be a "big-name" brand that will attach it's name to WSV. The examples I was given were the Ritz Carlton or Hilton "or similar". Can anyone comment if this is true or what brand it could be? Thanks

Mrs riddler, i asked a similar question to Andrew, he informed me that they are looking to get a big name on board as the resort will be 5 star but understandable they are taking their time to make sure that the decision is right. The expected maintence cost do not seem to bad either which im happy at!

We haven't been to Egypt before but were looking for a good overseas investment and Hurghada seemed to be the best we could get - and a good price too for 5 stars. According to latest prices for the 1-bed apartments, we have already gained about 30%, which isn't bad at all!!!

We have a 5 month old baby so won't get an opportunity to visit the area for awhile (too hot for him) so I just keep up to date by checking the forum to read what others have to say about it!

unfortunatley for me i bought just after the 30% increase, the early bird and all that but still think i got a good price for the apartment.

I was with Stephen, David & Andrew from WSV in Hurghada last week. There was no mention of the hotel brand. I can tell you that these negotiations generally take a long time and can sometimes change more than once prior to completion. What is important is that they are open to offers and I am sure that they will find the right partner prior to completion.

We have purchased a 2 bedroom apartment with a view to living in it, would be great if we could all meet up when property finished and have a British contingency to out number the Russians (no offence meant!!)

Hello Huggy nothing that you don't already know I am sure. There was concern over the 10 page money laundering document that the lawyers sent out as apparently people have been 'sitting on it' instead of signing it and sending it back. I believe that this has been resolved and things should start moving now. The Marlin Inn closes at the end of May for refurbishment for 6 months; this means that long before your properties are completed you will be passing through a nice new hotel to reach the beach!

Tha good when clients have the units the hotel they use will be new
