Thank you George - we'll look forward to seeing them. Enjoy your holiday. I've only been to Alexandria once but loved it there. It was over 10 years ago though so I'm sure it's changed a lot.

Hi Kevin,

Sorry about the late reply, i bought a studio/1 bed (52.30 m2 net) apartment in building C. It was bought end of march 08 about a week before the 35% increase. I note from previous posts you have invested here and may be a little nervous?? - u are not alone - this is a first time foreign property investment for me - I'm confident however this is going to be a belter of a development and you need not worry. There is risk with everything but WSV is so far proving very promising and it can be too easy at times to focus on the negatives and 'what ifs' - this area is beautiful, tourism will boom here and the price is stupidly low - sit tight and make a shed loada money!!

All the best,

Brian.

Good advice from Brian; there are four phases and as each new one is released the price will increase by 10%. Not sure if you are aware that the swimming pools will all be heated? Also the Marlin Inn (owned by the Developer) is closing later this month until November for a total refurb. This will surely add to the attraction of WSV as this is the beach that owners will have use of.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for getting back to me . I feel a little bit more confident now ....... not much news on here about wsv i must admit though .
I dont know Hurghada very well to be honest mind you about 3years ago i would have said it was the worst airport i have ever been in , in my life ! Is it any better ?
I stayed outside the town in Makadi , it was lovely . I went into the centre of Hurghada ............. it was full of shopkeepers trying to drag you in . Any changes and will it be a good place for my family and children to holiday?
Any advise would help .
Cheers
Kevin

the centre of town where the shopkeepers tried to drag you in is i believe sekalla which is lively but not really to my tastes (and certainly not to my wife's) but the region where wsv is situated is in the new part which has a lovely pedestrianised promenade and is much more sedate and classy - the wife was very impressed and had me down this end of town most nights when i was on holiday there (never mind that the hotel we were in was all-inclusive)

anyway the new part would be better for kids imho - much less traffic much more attractive presentation etc.
