Hi Chris, yes everything has gone very quiet just now until we get contracts. I also have not purchased my euros yet - and live in hope that the exchange rate will improve before we have to pay! Karen.

I haven't purchased my Euros yet either. I'm watching the exchange rate day by day. It's up and down like a yoyo.

purchased mine ages ago (when ipi said they first needed the money) so have been really fed up that mine is sat in an fx account earning someone else interest!! i got 1.2525 from hifx and dont think its moved a lot since then. it did go up to 1.27 the other day but that was on their front page and you dont always get the rate on the front page - they were very easy to deal with.

Wink Thank you- feel safer with fellow investors

Thanks to all that replied. we will get the hang of the forum before long. Glad to find you all and that we are not alone in investing in Marsa Alam beach resort.
After paying the reservation fee we now have 28 days to deposit the balance into the escrow account.Looking at all your comments we will wait until last minute and look for an increase in the exchange rate before transferring the money.

hi graham
I am also waiting for the full due diligence to arrange and be checked before I send my money so others may wish to do the same. God my contract today and it looks ok. There are a few things i am going to point out to zeiad to see what his advice is but it looks pretty much ok. I am also going to check if we should have contracts in arabic too.

Anyone read the hania beach thread - I am slightly concerned about redangel's reference to zeiad although he doesnt really let on what he is talking about. I have search the internet and can only find good about zeiad yehia.

I appreciate seddons are uk but when we worked out what they would charge every individual (just to send a copy of due diligence they already prepared) they would stand to make millions from just one project. I also feel there is conflict of interest in the deveoper recommends them too.

I am still gonna use zeiad unless redangel comes back with some sound information since I cannot find anything myself. I know what I want my contract to read anyways so it is just a check for piece of mind really. how do others feel?

I just wanted to make you aware for those that have chosen to use zeiad of the earlier thread and leave any decision to you.

Thanks.

Lou

I also had started to wonder about what was being said about Zeiad, the longer these contracts are taking it seems the more there is to question and worry about!!

Hi optom, i think there is more to it and its more of a personal issue since ive checked all over the internet and I can find nothing but praise for zeiad everywhere.

I am gonna let him review my contract and see how we go. To be honest they are selling 1500 units and whether people use seddons or zeiad the due diligence has to be correct otherwise seddons wouldnt pass it so I cant see that we have much to worry about. Zafarana people were happy with their contracts - i checked and one guy had it all checked by his personal solicitor and the solicitor couldnt find anything in it to change so I have no reason to think IPI would try to stitch people up at all.

Urrrghhhh this should be exicting but i want it to be over and us all be happy

Hi all

since typing the above message I have now read redangel's reply and in my view he has cleared up the issue and said its really only personal opinion on time delay issues etc so this has put my mind at rest totally.

If IPI know seddons are checking the due diligence then it has to be right. I am not paying seddons over a grand to tell me that!!
