Hi to all
I received a phone call from Sue this morning (Friday 25th) and she said that the Due Diligence has been sent to our agents and that we should receive a copy on Monday 28th.
She also said that now the Due Diligence has been sorted that the developer is keen to get started and should be breaking ground in about 2 weeks.
Has anyone else herd from her?
There is also an amended purchase agreement that is being sent to new clients that amends some of the concerns in the first agreement but as I understand it, for investors who have the first agreement it is a choice between having an Egyptian copy of that or the new agreement without translation.
If anyone would like to see a copy contact me with your e-mail address and I will send you a copy.

Regards
Cliff

Guess I'd best be chasing my agent then, as I've still not heard anything from her! At least things seem to be moving now....

Hi the amendments I penned on my contract were all of the amendments we all discussed.

I think its best that we use this. Zeiad's contract reads so much better but I dont think IPI will go for it cause I think they will keen to push on.

Sue said if I forwarded my amendments to her she will review them (and I am assuming put them in the next arabic contract).

Once zeiad confirms due diligence is ok, I will forward to IPI.

Lou

Hi Alex
As you have only just purchased your apartment yours will properly be the new agreement you can easily tell on the front page just below your personnel details the new agreement says :-
Agree
that the developer sells to the buyer the apartment referred to below (also referred to hereinafter as: the hotel
suite which includes all rights and privileges which apply to freehold ownership):
And the old agreement says:-
Agree
that the developer sells to the buyer the right to acquire the apartment referred to below (also referred to hereinafter as: the apartment which right includes all rights and privileges which apply to freehold ownership):
Because you have only made 3 posts on this forum you cannot send or receive any private messages make 2 more then you can send me a private message with your e-mail and I will send a copy of the agreement if you want.

Cliff
