As mentioned this is just what happened to me whilst there, and as I had nothing to show them it proved difficult. But this is probably because we do not have the pass or whatever it is that PHW give out. How will owners receive this pass etc or whatever it is??? will one be left in everyones apartments??

Egypt,

Have you completed yet on your apartment? I would guess that we will all get the cards when we receive the keys and the sale has been completed.

Hi

We are the owners of Apartment 101 and we spent 4 weeks in Hurghada over Xmas kitting it out. We found a great electrical shop called B-tech in the Zabargad Mall which is between La Perla and Le Rois hotels.

We bought a 32in LG LCD tv for EP6100 which was approx. £554. They also stocked Sony tvs as well. They had all sizes.
LG DIVX DVD player EP459- £43
large no frost fridge freezer for EP1940- £176
LG washing machine EP3640- £330

We bought all our electrical items from there and they have one price for credit cards and another for cash which is of course cheaper. They will also discount if you buy more than one item from them. They had a great selection of white goods as well as kettles, toasters, mixers, mobile phones, vacuums, hair dryers & irons. They also sold the boilers and extractor fans you will need for the apartment They will delivery for a small fee. Ask for Hash, he speaks good English and was very helpful. There prices were cheaper than the Abu Ashara supermarket in Dahar.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dawn,

We didn't have the furniture pack and thought that the boilers were included in the purchase price but found out on arrival that they weren't!

Hi Andrew,
I will have to email PHW and ask that question, because I just thought they were included, never thought to ask. I hope they are, well the boiler anyway. Thanks again for your help.

Cheers

Hi Andrew,
PHW emailed me today and said our boiler and extractor fan are included in our furniture package, so thats good news for me. And it's nice to chat to a future neighbour. Hope to see you out there sometime.
