Default Free TV

We did offer a free TV on completion, this was done due to the fact that there are over 100 agents. When you look at the amount of apartments available, it is not a very good ratio of apartments to agents. So we decided to offer the TV to get buyers to choose us over anybody else. Soon after the developer sent an email out saying we could not do this. I guess other agents thought this was wrong. At the moment i have left this on, but i will confirm with the developer if i can do so.

Sorry, forgot to say. I was replying to an earlier post. The info required, changes almost daily so its hard to keep up.
Ive been reading older posts and i must agree with the opinion that phil morris has most things covered. Also if prospective buyers want to contact him, he is more than willing to help. I have met him and have spoken with him regularly, he is a very committed and professional person.

Hi Dawn,

I'm glad that the items are included in the furniture pack. Another item you might like to check is that if you are having a gas cooker, the gas bottle is included and it has been filled. We had a nightmare with ours and in the end a local taxi driver we used got the bottle filled for us. A van comes round Hurghada filling the gas bottles up but they didn't come round by the Towers when we were there. However once they realise they have customers it probably will.

Hurghada is great and the locals are all very friendly. We are definately going out for 4 weeks again at Xmas and hope to sneak a week in later in the year.

Hope to see you
Sharon

Thumbs up

Hi Sharon, Wayne (my other half) said he was told by Mark that if you let the guy on security know that your gas bottle is empty, he comes and changes it for you. So they must have a few bottles spare on site. So is your apartment finished and have you been staying in it? I don't think there is anything in ours yet. I would love to take the kids out in August, flights are so expensive though. I know we will have to go out there when the keys are handed over, but don't know when that will be.

Cheers Dawn -x-

Hi bennyuk, Thanks for clearing up the free T.V business. Could we get a good deal on the T.V though instead? LOL

Default Satellite TV

Hi,
I may be able to help with the satellite tv.I used to have a satellite tv shop in the UK. I spoke to andy about supplying receivers but he has already got that sorted. Its prob best that somebody local starts it off. I have receivers that connect to the broadband and can get some good packages. I will wait and see what satellites are available in Towers when i next go out. If i can help i will.

Hi Dawn

We were meant to spend 4 weeks in the apartment from mid December 2007 but only actually got in for our last week. Mainly because of no water and electricity, no boilers, no gas bottle & all the workers on holiday.
The apartment is basically finished however there is some snagging to be done. However we really enjoyed our last week and the place will be fantastic when it's finished.

We have a website for the apartment that has photos of the lounge & kitchen on and also the t.v! Can't post the address but send me a PM if you would like it.

I'm glad to hear that they are more organised with the gas bottles now.

Sharon

Hi Sharon, That website would be great thanks. Please pm me with the link. Thank you. About the gas bottles, thats what Wayne was told when he was out there the end of February this year. Will have to wait and see if they have for sure.

Thanks again
