Welcome to the forum Ray! The best advice I can give you is to maintain pressure on the Developer and make sure that you get regular updates. Leave nothing to chance...

If something does not seem right or is worrying you then insist on getting answers. Its your money and you have a right to a fair deal.

Im Sarah, i am married with two kids, 1 15 and 1 10. We live in Basingstoke, Hampshire. I am a qualifed mortgage advisor.

We have recently bought a two bed apartment at the Desert Pearl 1. We are going over to Hurghada next friday the 22nd to have a look at the apartment.

Hi All,
Im a 50 something who thinks and looks 40 something (i hope), Have just secured a 1 bed deluxe apartment in the Coral Sea Pearl development, dipping the toes in for the first time abroad, and am very excited by it all. My pal and work associate Ray_K has also done the deed, so at least I'll have some good neighbours, and I dont mean Ray!
Look forward to chatting to you all over the coming months and hope we can share pictures ideas and info when needed.

Hi there,

I live in Southampton, UK and have pre-lanch reserved a two bed middle apartment at Marsa Alam Beach Resort for EUR39995.

Chose Marsa because I am a diver and wanted Elphinstone in my back yard!!

Also I know dolphins frequent the coast since ive been diving with them there just off shore - and before you ask, yes a dolphin would be enough to encourage me to buy my "place in the sun". I love the sleepy feel of marsa so for us its perfect (although I admit its not for all!).

We are going to take up the offer of the 5 year rental guarantee since this will help pay our mortgage, however we are not relying on the cash it will just be a bonus. We are purchasing so we have somewhere to go for a 2nd localish holiday each year and also so we can spend many months there in the winter in our old age.

Nice to meet everyone.
