Welcome to the forum Short1h! I am sure that our resident lawyer from Sharm Zeiad will put your mind at rest in due course; anyone who has bought properties in city centres in the UK will know they are often leasehold. This is not a problem providing you protect your beneficiaries by ensuring the lease is renewable at a known cost and frequency. ie after a given number of years, on Resale etc.

Hi to all new members and a warm welcome.

Good luck in your investments.

Shorty - Im so excitied that there is another Sharmer. I too have bought in Nabq. Where have you bought and when is your handover date?? There is a thread on Sharm and Sierra so take a look.

Any questions about the lease please look on the legal thread by Zeiad and post and questions - he will answer anything you post cos he is brill.

Also anything at all you need to know either post on the Sierra or Sharm threads and I will try to answer eg POA, going to El Tor for residency visa to obtain POA etc etc.

Regards

Alison

Hello Everyone,

I have placed a one post on here now. Taba property investment.. I am 40 years old, single. i am originally from Egypt, I developed an interest in the idea of selling property for overseas buyers . After carrying out my study at American university in Cairo, I got a real estate diploma . I decided established a estate agency.

I believe that this is the best form of customer feedback and testament to the way we do business.

Regards,

Default Introductions

Hi all

I am 43 and living in Cairo with my wife and son 8, who goes to BISC. I have two other boys who live in Yorkshire with their mother Caroline. Very Complicated ! I have all three with me in Cairo at present for the first time which is wonderful.

I bought a phase 5 villa in Gouna in 2006 and very excited its nearing completion. Just doing the garden and should be finished in a couple of months.

Ive been in the Golf and real estate business in the Uk and overseas for 20 years. I still own Trent park Golf Club in Enfield, North London and used to own Lime trees Park GC in Ealing.

For the last couple of years Ive been working a lot in Ukraine and Russia on large scale developments of Logistics warehouses but have now decided to settle in Cairo and Gouna ( I got fed up with all the travelling) and am presently involved in the planned new Golf Course project at Gouna which will launch soon.

Yours

Jeremy

Default Welcome

Afternoon Jeremy,

Great to have you with us, not least because my husband is from Cairo and my best friend lives there! In which part of Cairo do you live?

I know nothing about golf unfortunately, save for the fact that a good course enhances the price of nearby properties - but I know many people here would be interested to know more about the one in El Gouna.
