Hi, only newly discovered the forum, so 1st posting. Purchasing a studio, D201, in DP1. No idea wot 2 expect, not even been 2 Egypt yet, but going over 4 completion.

Hello Vix and welcome to the forum. I see you've already found and contributed to the DP thread. I'm pretty sure that anything you want to know will have been covered there already - if not there's plenty of members that would answer any questions that you may have. Not forgetting the moderators - anything you need to know, one of us would be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Are you buying your studio purely for investment or for holidays - or a bit of both?!

Vix - again yes Im sure you will love Egypt. We got hooked a couple of years ago. I love it so much that I went 5 times last year.

Have a look at the thread called trips / pics in Egypt in the lounge so you can get an idea of what the scenery etc is like.

Hi all, and many thanx for the welcome.
I am, on this purchase buying purely for family use. I have a married daughter with 2 young girls. Daughter senior Social Worker, hubby Police Officer. Also have family in Jordan.
I am happily divorced, but my former husband remains my best friend, so we will be traveling to Hurghada 2 gether. He is Jordanian, so his language may be useful.
I am a trainer in Health and Safety and Holistic Therapies, and work in Dubai approx. 6 mnths of the year, so Arabic/ Muslim cultures are familiar to me, but Egypt is a 1st.
Hopefuly, if all goes well, I will purchase again, as before, I intend to build a portfolio for my retirement.
