Dear All,
I've finally found my way to this forum, something I should have checked out a long time ago.
I'll quickly introduce myself, my name is Huda Mohamed, that's a very Egyptian name, though I myself am from Holland. But my name changed so much due to the fact that about 1 year ago I converted to Islam, so that's when my first name changed and then half year later my surname changed because of my marriage.

I life in Egypt since Januari 2006, and untill today with great pleasure.
I've been all over Egypt from the deep South till the North and the country is amazing, though I have to say that Hurghada is 'my' place. I've lived in Alexandrie in Cairo, but I was so happy to be back in Hurghada!
Concerning my professional life, I've been around in the property business for a while, within different types of companies, from brokerage companies, to developers, to construction. But all with properties and buildings. and this both in Holland and in Egypt!
About my private life, I'm happily married to Mohamed, in my eyes the best man in this world, but that's what every happy wife says about her husband,
No kids (yet, but we have hope)

And about this my view on this forum, I'm really curious about what everybody it thinking about the properties of this moment and what is moving at the moment.
I hope that I can contribute something to the other members, maybe with my experiences about living in Egypt.

nice to have you on the forum, definitly people will love to ask your opinion about living in egypt, and i am one of them thanks to god and thanks to this forum, i learned so much about egypt i am not that addicted like our freind suz , not because i am not intersted but i can not find the time with 4 kids i have a hand full, i am looking forward to vesit egypt and meet all this nice people, who share their experience and knowledge with us, my dream is to move to egypt and start a new experience, give us some tips, by the way i am algerian and i have been living in UK since 1996, i enjoy my life and looking forward for a new fresh start in egypt.

It's always good to welcome a new member and all the better when it's someone with an extensive knowledge of Egypt. I'm sure you will be able to contribute in a big way.

I'm an English revert to Islam (20 years ago now) and I too am married to an Egyptian called Mohamed - but then it is a very popular and beloved name.

Dear Ladies,
Thank you for your warm welcome I really feel welcome, specially now I know that I'm not the only convert/revert! .
I truly hope that I can add something to this forum and help people with my experiences. I really believe that experiences are the key to good advice, so I'll do my best to speak in all case based on experience.
Though maybe everybody needs to keep an eye on the fact that I'm slightly 'Egyptianized'!
And you know what?? I can suggest it, really it's adviceable. Though it's life, just life everywhere, you have responsibilities, like everywhere else, and money is also something you can't run away from.
But next to these things, life is great here!!

Hi everyone,we are new to the forum,so may we introduce ourselves.My name is Mick and my wife is Pauline.We live on the Isle of Man,and have a married daughter with twin, two year old girls.We have bought apartment D30 at the Oasis Resort,and my daughter and son in law have C30.We are flying out to Hurghada early Jan.Hope to see some of you then.

Hello to you both, did you used to be in the RAF Mick? The only reason i ask is i knew a Mick Coupe many years ago, who was a very keen diver. Good luck with your apartments.

Hi Neal,no sorry,it was'nt me.I worked on the railway,on the footplate.
