Hi Wanderer79 and welcome to the forum; I am sure that you have chosen a great spot in Sahl Hasheesh! What size are the studios in Sun Gate and when are they due for completion? We have not heard much about this development on the forum before. I believe that they were originally being sold by ***?

After reading the beginnings of this thread i feel a little out of place in terms of life and experience but here goes..

I'm Justin, a 20 year old single college student at Auburn University in Auburn, AL, USA (about 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta). I've always had an interest in Egypt for some reason or another, I want to become a International Real Estate Developer and investor sooner than later, but am now just trying to get an internship (mainly in egypt or in uae, but anywhere i could learn would suit me just fine) so I can hit the ground running. I love Real Estate period, and investing in it and developing it is my cup of tea. I've never had the pleasure to visit Egypt or Africa at all yet, although I do plan on making a stop there on my way to the world cup because I hear that Cairo and Alexandria are especially gorgeous. I am currently studying Spanish and International Business with French in school and learning Arabic on my own (more like clicking aimlessly in Rosetta Stone ).. I would love to learn about the industry from anyone i possibly can especially on an international scope and I'm extremely happy I came across this site.

Default Hello from newbie Edlin

Hi everyone,
just like to introduce myself and say Hi.
My name is Colin I am 53 years old and live with lovely wife Cathy. We have three grown up children, all girls and the youngest has recently left home leaving us with just each other for the first time in thirty years.
We ran our own small business for twenty five years but are now more or less retired.
a couple of years ago we sold up and downsized as part of our life plan post children, we are now looking at properties abroad, partly as an investment and partly as a winter home.
We are keen boaters and have a narrowboat, our plan is to live onboard during the summer and somewhere warmer in the winter months, hence joining this forum.
I hope to learn from fellow members regarding buying do's and don'ts. We are looking at Hurghada and districts, possibly sahl Hasheesh, Safaga, el gouda.
Sorry if this is a bit long, Hope to here from you all soon.

Hello everyone

We are 50+ and dreaming of being able to spend part of the winter in the sun in the future. We invested in 2 bedr apartment in Sahl Hasheesh last May and until now our experiance has been very good. We are planing to rent it out as well as use it ourself. The apartment is now ready and we are now looking for furniture, good advice is highly appreciated.

We looked at several properties and locations when we were there and found Sahl Hasheesh by far the most promising place.

Default :-) hello Everyone

Hi All,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ewa, I am married mother of 1 (and another one on the way ;-), daugter, aged 1. We live in Hurghada with all my family for last 3 years. Very often we travel to Poland, where I am a registered medical doctor and where the rest of our family live.

I work in Hurghada for Egypt Real, real estate company, where I am responsible for contacts with all clients from Poland, who are very keen to change polish winter for a little bit of sun under egyptian sky ;-)

I help our clients to choose the best investments, help them to settle down in Hurghada, show nice places for shopping or going out.

Hopefully very soon I will get all my licence to work in Egypt as a doctor, and start my practice in one of private clinics:-)

We also help Poles to furnish their apartments in Hurghada. So any new ideas about it or contact details would be very appreciated.

I will be also happy to answer any questions about living in Hurghada, or meet people who like us have little children and live here :-)

All the best for those who love Hurghada :-)
