Hi all due to rising costs in Egypt Idea4furniture are increasing their prices from Aug so suggest if you are going to use them to start ordering now to secure the old price. It will rise from £3900 to £4500 for the 1 bed package.

Hi Leo TBH Egyptian towels and bed linen are quite expensive in Egpyt as they tend to make to export You are better off taking with you. I have bought some lovely sets from Primark and Matalan sell really good value Egyptian cotton sets.

The best towels are 100% natural, untreated, organically cultivated Egyptian cotton towels and bathrobes and bath slippers produced by a company called Nefertari. They are sold in the pharmacies in El Gouna and a large bath towel costs around LE80.

Upstairs in Abu Ashara Family Market in Hurghada inbetween Sakalla and Downtown sells Egyptian cotton sheets in many different colours plus pillows, duvets, etc. I think the king size sheets are around LE100 and excellent. They also have towels and my friend bought some big blue and white stripped ones for LE40 each.
