I have now arranged this over the phone with Intasure as I found their policy to be one of the best for my needs ( I am an Insurance Underwriter ) and the policy covers for lets as well.

The staff are really helpful and the cost was £120 per annum for buildings and contents with AD cover as well. They also cover up to £1000 travel expenses if you need to fly out in case of emergency ad also if something has happened eg it has been flooded and you cannot honour the booking they will pay for loss of rental. Also if anything happens when the apartment is being used they will pay for alternative accom as well.
That seems exellent. Do you have the contact details please.

Hi

If you go to the website of the company I work (link by my name) for and click on the bottom left hand corner - (a flashing sandcastle etc etc) it will take you direct to their website.

Regards

Penny

They are also insuring the oasis and seemed very familiar with all the properties over there - she named quite a few - but can't remember them all. She was a lovely lady - I rang her on Wednesday, the quote was given over the phone and I had all the docs in the post on Friday! Would really recommend them for their efficiency. mine was £120 (2 beds) and also covers for earthquakes.

When we left last Friday they were buying at 10.45 ... It dropped by 0.20 during the two weeks we were in El Gouna ... Some banks, the one by the bus station opposite supermarket, will not exchange Sterling Travellers Cheques, they said their systems will not allow it

By the way, I am sorry I didn't manage to photograph your apartment at OR. It was on the list but Hussain didn't take us to it, I didn't realise until I was sorting the photo's out yesterday. You should get a pretty good idea of the stage they're at from the other photo's though.

Hi Suzi - you still get about 10% more by exchanging in Egypt than what you do in the UK whatever the exchange rate is. Last yr we were getting nearly 11.5!!
