Hi,
If anyone is in Hurghada at the moment, can they tell me how hot is it and what time does it get dark out there now? Thank you.

Cheers Dawn -x-

Sun up about 7am, sundown about 5-5.30pm, temp about 25-27 but at night need light jacket or jumper. Rained in March for approx 48 seconds.

Yes this time of year the temperature suddenly drops. It is currently 19 degrees at 9am and set to rise to 27 today. For the first time last night I put jeans, boots and thin suede jacket on! It depends on the wind and I was going to be sitting in our open air cinema. Gave up at the interval because it was cool and they got the movie dimensions wrong so it was like watching a movie through a letterbox with exceptionally wide actors.

No matter how cold it gets as long as you get out of the wind during the day it is hot, hot, hot in the sunshine. But in the winter it can drop to as little as 6 degrees at night.

I always use wind guru for the forecast for El Gouna. Just changed the forecast to Hurghada and it says few degrees warmer in the evening. Guess that is true because we are much more exposed here and no protection from tall buildings.
WindGURU: Egypt - Hurghada

Cannot believe I just saw a photo of snow in the south of England in October FFS!

Just makes me feel envious!! I know it's different when you don't have to scrape off your car to drive anywhere and then it's horrible when it turns to brown slush, but still...................
