Hope you're enjoying the red..thought you said you see more clearly after wine ?...mmm..thinkwe'll leave that one there ..

I agree would be nice for members to meet up i'm sure there will be a few people there around that time, it starts getting really, hot in June so most people tend to go April May, then from September onward..dont what the wine is like in Egypt never tried it , so i will wait for your report ..I know you you can get spirits in the Duty Free shop..if that's any help.

Different place same people!Dont mind being moved around a bit,keeps us on our toes...thought we may have been banned for using brand names for a minute??!!As for the wine,feel fine now.Have heard that most white wine you will be able to get isnt up to much in hurghada.But dont quote me on that,as I only ever drink red.And its really quite good there.Obelisk is the best,but others ok too.
I also tend to make use of the two for £20 deals at manchester airport on way out,for spirits too.Sound like a right drunk dont I.Oh well....

Hi - yes the white wine is really dodgy - smells quite bleachy!! The red and the rose are ok though. Watch the prices though as some will charge around £40 a bottle!!!

I have to admit that I quite liked the white wine and had many a merry night drinking it in the hotel. Maybe it was the fact that it was free that I liked it but it definately was easy to drink.

Alison the white wine in Hurghada is definitely more drinkable than the wine in Sharm.
