Hello Julie
Myself and my wife Karen moved to Hurghada from the UK over 18 months ago and we love every minute of it. If you need any help about anything here in Hurghada it would be apleasure to help.

Derek

what exactly have you bought and what drew you to egypt apart from yearround sunshine??
a close friend has an apartment - we used it and loved the place. We like the sunshine and have always wanted our own place in the sun.
The people made up our minds, their temperment and cultural upbringing coupled with the fab diving convinced us to buy.
We have friends on the complex and we have decided to buy a studio apartment at £26k- we want it as a holiday get away and felt if anything went wrong its not the end of the world at this price.
im now worried that we should have looked at hurghada however we have been to the complex 3 times and already have friends in the community so we felt it was right.
Have always gone with my feelings and it felt right.
Just reading since leaves a little concern on future for sharm development and possible consequences for long term re-sale due to 99 year lease.
thanks for your reply.

I see your flu hasn't cleared up Jeremy. We'll miss you when it does! (though I hope that you're better and back to work soon).
