We have a great 1 bedroom apartment in Istanbul Turkey.

We have had this place since 2009, and it's been rented on a long term basis since 2009.

It's in a place called "Astrum Towers"

We are now looking for a place in Spain, anywhere in the costa Blanca, Murcia, Granada area considered.

Dosen't have to be on the coast we would be happy within a 50 mile radias of the coast.

Our place is valued around £50,000, and if you do your research it's rising year on year. Turkey is doing very well at the moment, one of the fastest growing countries in the world.

If anybody as a place they use and now selling, we would love to talk about a possiable exchange.

This will be our first overseas property, and we are looking for advice, warnings and anything else!

We have had a mortgage offer in principle, but any finance recommendations also welcome. We also have friends locally, so would be able to ask them for a recommended solicitor (that would not be associated with the seller).

If anyone would be willing to share their experiences as well, it would be much appreciated.
