Chennai Properties and Chennai Real Estate market has been fast flourishing than ever with property transactions reaching the sky rocketing figures. Chennai property market has displayed an unsurpassed potential to attract huge investments from Tamil Nadu as well as outsiders.Chennai is experiencing a major real estate makeover. Indeed, the new growth areas are not in the heart of the city; it is the sleepy suburbs that are witnessing frenetic construction activity. Nothing illustrates this boom better than the shooting up of land prices to levels unimaginable even a year ago.The obvious catalyst for this growth is the phenomenal development of the Information Technology sector in the past decade. But just as important are the new facets of the traditional strengths that the city offers, particularly as a retailing and manufacturing hub. Simply put, IT has led to increasing levels of disposable income in the hands of the young workforce. Their consumerist culture has had important implications for the city. The happenings in the real estate market only testify to this.Localities like Alwarpet, Boat Club, and Poes Garden have come up as upmarket residential areas. On the other hand, places such as Velachery, Mogappiar and Thiruvanmixur are the favourite spots for budget apartments.

Exclamation Chennai is Flourishing inspite of the US Crisis

Its good to read your offer. However, before that we need to understand that every indian market is somewhat associated with the US and Europe. Investing in Chennai at this moment may have some effects which you may want to avoid.

Investing in property has been in india for ages and the Banking system of India is also different from US and Europe. This gives a safe net for the Indian situation after the crisis. Property prices may come down in the next few years but not immediately.

Its always better to Analyse the market and Stocks and finally just wait and see.

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks for that invitation. How much a 'ground' (this is how you mention for a plot right) costs at the heart of the city. Please let me know.
