I'm new here.
I live in Calabria and I know that there are resorts woth golf courses (9 and 18, if I don't mistake).
The problem here is the airport. We have Lamezia only but I have heard that there's another one about what they are planning in the next years, which is in my area. I'm working with professionals and a bulding firm with lands and buildings just near that place.

Keep your wits about you. As has already been highlighted, there is a lot going on that shouldn't be. At the very least choose your own lawyer and make sure he is totally independent of the company you are buying from. Always be wary of 'in house' legal services. And remember - Calabria has attracted a lot of publicity recently but there is much, much more to Italy than just Calabria. It is a country rich in history and culture - and it changes from top to bottom. Buy wisely and safely.

At the moment the best route for irish clients,who wish to avoid a overnight stay at stansted airport. is probably Dublin to Naples with Aer lingus flights are cheap and then take the train down from there,or you can drive from there in around 4 hours to Lamezia.

New flights are now coming into Lamezia with airitalia from Russia,what impact on the market this will have, we will have to wait and see,but they certainly seem to be buying.

Ryanair fly from Dublin to Rome then you could take an internal flight to Lamezia.

Ryanair have restarted their winter schedule from stansted to Lamezia with flights from as little as £29 each way from 6th of december 2008
